Simon's weight pinned Genius to the rack of clean towels at his back as they kissed. Genius squirmed a little, frowning against Simon's lips, then settled; it was softer than the wall, though still kind of uncomfortable. That thought was driven out of his head as Simon's tongue licked his lips ever so lightly; he opened his mouth in a silent gasp, and the tongue slipped past the lips to run along his teeth. Peppermint... and oranges? Eww.

He pulled back, wiping at his lips.

"What?" Simon whispered. "Do I have garlic breath?" He breathed into his cupped palm, trying to sniff out what Genius was bothered by.

"We can't do this here, you know the boss-man is gonna dissect us alive if he finds us. Or maybe just turn us both into slugs for the rest of our natural lives, though the good news there is that in this place they won't be too long!" Genius rubbed his arms in a nervous gesture. He'd been getting a little louder with every word, and Simon made frantic hushing motions. Voice back to a whisper he continued, his voice taking on a gratingly whining tone. "I'm in a closet with a man, this is just the best day ever."

"You didn't want to have me over for fear of Derrick discovering us; I don't dare bring you to my place for fear of my sister seeing..." Simon cleared his throat uncomfortably.

Genius said, helpfully, "Us having man reactions while hugging. Manfully. And kissing. Also manfully."

Simon added, "And having sex, of course."

"Well, obviously." Genius blushed.

Simon moved a little closer in the dark, tugging Genius' hand. "We'd better hurry, if you don't want Lezard to find us..."

Genius moved closer as well. "Eating oranges after brushing your teeth is gross," he muttered, poking Simon's shoulder.

Simon ignored the poke. "If you're so bothered by it, you could always go kiss Fred."

Genius scowled. "Not you too. She's just a friend, jeez."

"Alright, alright. Now. Where were we...?"

As Simon moved in to resume the kiss, neither man noticed a small shadow-within-a-shadow hiding behind a stack of clean sheets. Qi watched with interest as her brother screwed Genius right on the floor, her eyes following every motion, her ears catching every stifled moan.

The next day, Genius came home to find Qi sitting in his bed, playing with one of her little knitted things. She looked up and spoke before he could say anything. "Shh. No words, it's alright. You don't have to. Closet floors look very uncomfortable."

Genius blushed fire-engine red.
